Wisconsin Winters

Carolyn and I had a retreat in Stockholm Wisconsin from 2002 to 2009 or so. We bought a derelict 120 year-old building - the old general store and upstairs family apartment - and, with the expert help of local tradespersons, restored it. The result was a one-bedroom "loft" upstairs (our retreat) and a store below. More on that in another portfolio. Here, though, are some of my photos from winter expeditions into the Wisconsin countryside from our place in Stockholm.
